FACE AND CLEANSING TIPS

HELLO PEOPLE!

Here is our very own first official post on external beauty.
will be bringing you regular updates and providing you with beauty tips.

Ever felt down and dejected because you felt that your face is oily, greasy or even filled with pimples all over?
Never feeling confident?
Afraid that girls or guys would find you unattractive because of that?

Fret not! We are here to help :)

Facial cleansing is done almost by everybody, be it girls or boys. There are several steps that we will be going through and today, Benedict will be guiding us through the basic steps of Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising!

Ben getting ready and smiling before getting a clean face! See how happy he is:)

He washes his face with lukewarm water to open up his facial pores!

He takes out a small amount of cleanser and using his middle and ring finger,  he daps the cleanser lightly on 5 areas on his face.

Ps. You will look like this after spreading the 5 areas!

Next, he spreads the cleanser around his face with just the 2 fingers moving in a clockwise circular motion.

Use your third or four fingers while you cleanse your face!
Why not the second finger? Well, the second finger will exert too much force to your face.

The next step, is the toner. Here you can see happy Benedict applying some toner on a cotton wool.

To wipe with the toner, move in an upwards movement to prevent your face from sagging.
It will help to lift up your face, making you look much younger and livelier :)

The last and final procedure of the whole process:

Ben seems confident and ready to get his chicks! WOOHOOOO!

He applies the moisturiser on his hand and similarly to the cleanser, he spreads it across his face.

There, we’re done with the 3 commonly used steps to keep your face clean and radiant!

However, before going to the bathroom to tryout what you have learned. It would be best to check up on the type of skin you have as different kinds of products will suit different kinds of skin.

Here is a list for the types of skin and the symptoms which will show what kind of skin you have:

Tend to have spots breaking out

Here’s a detailed overview of the 3 steps to recap your memory

There are several steps to face cleansing, but before that, makeup has to be removed. These are the steps that we felt are necessary to know!

Step 1: Cleanse

Before using any cleanser, start off by rinsing your face with water. Place the cleanser on your hand and move about your face in a circular motion. If you do not want to use your hand, you could always use the clarisonic which helps to close the pores and remove makeup as well.

Step 2: Tone

Toning helps to remove the excess dirt and helps to close up pores that cleansing couldnt do. Using a cotton pad to remove is highly suggested as it works better than the cotton ball. Some areas that should be focused on is your nose and under your nose.

Intermediate Step: Eye Cream
The eye cream helps to remove dark eye circles and in a way, helps to look young. Using the ring finger and dab around your eye as the skin within the area is quite sensitive and the ring finger is the weakest finger.

Step 3: Moisturize

The moisturizer helps to keep your skin hydrated, and is able to keep your skin too oily or dry. However, there are different kinds of moisturizer for different type of skin.

Here are some additional steps which you ladies can do to make yourself look more beautiful.

Additional Step: Mask

Putting a facial mask often will allow your face to rejuvenate and radiate your face. There are different kinds of mask which you would consider on using. These masks are the cream mask, brush-on mask and the activated mask.
Our preferred mask is the cream mask. There are many kinds of cream mask and each mask provides different benefits. The common kind of mask used by many has the benefit of evening out the tone of your skin.

Here is a bonus tip for you readers.
  • Due to the humid weather in Singapore, we normally get sun burnt if we stay outdoors for too long. Therefore, we recommend that you use sunblock to prevent yourself from getting sun burnt.

That’s all for today! We will update more on the external beauty for this week so do remember to come back to read up more on it :)

Stay beautiful!
With love; Ohsobeaute Team

(PS: Ben can attract girls easily now with his radiant and rejuvenated skin HAHAHA)
